Jenny's Day in the Life

One of my favorite parts about my day is starting my mornings with Jesus; I wake up, make some coffee, snuggle up on the couch, open my Bible, and turn my heart to the Lord—Lord Jesus, I love You, thank You for a new day for me to take You as Lord; after musing over a few verses, I then get into my Bible reading schedule, which having a schedule really helps me be consistent in the Word; then I get ready for the day, do my hair, brush my teeth, make the bed, and tidy up around the house; my husband’s in Bible school right now, so something that brings me joy as a wife is making his coffee and packing food for his long day; we’re currently sharing a car, so we drive to school together, and then afterwards I head back home and start my work day; each day is a little different—some days are full of meetings, but at some point I do take a lunch break and make some afternoon matcha; and one thing I’m learning to do is spend more time with Jesus throughout the day, so I’ve recently been going on worship walks to sing and praise the Lord; after I finish my work day, we go to the church, we go to the gym together, and on our way we make it a priority to pray for our marriage, pray for our friends and family, or anyone we’re caring for; and at the gym I try to listen to messages on an aspect of truth, because faith comes out of hearing, and hearing through the Word of Christ; after, it’s time for dinner, and tonight just happened to be date night, which we really cherish in our marriage, so we walk to get some tacos; here’s a glimpse of a day in my life.
