Ally's Day in the Life

Mornings look a little different now that I’m married; we’re both figuring out how to share space in our apartment and settle into a routine; we try to start the day with some time with the Lord privately, then it’s coffee—we have our separate corners because we do coffee very differently; we usually have breakfast together, and if there’s time, read the Bible before things get busy; then it’s the usual cleaning up and getting ready; as we’re figuring out how to share space and make home in our apartment, we’re starting to understand what it really means for the Lord to make home in our hearts—we actually have to give up the space we tend to hold on to for ourselves, but instead of replacing us completely, He fills those places with something that’s kind of beautiful; it’s Him and us together; we walk to work together most mornings, and it’s kind of the best; bye!
